5.27.24 Tribe Baseball16U Hudgins opened the summer strong this weekend, going 4-2 and finishing Runner Up at the Five Tool Texas DFW Kickoff!

5.29.23 NTX Tribe 2026-Hudgins brought home the top spot winning the Five Tool DFW Kickoff this weekend! They battled through 6 games, going 5-1 outscoring opponents 56-26.

6.26.22 After a long weekend in the Texas sun, 14u-Hudgins brought home the top spot at the BN Suns Out Guns Out tournament. They finished up after 11pm on Sunday evening with another successful showing!

5.30.22 Tribe 14U Hudgins Wins 5GG Memorial Day Shootout in OKC. They went 6-0-1 and out scored opponents 45-13.
First Spring Tournament, First Championship Win!
2.20.22 14U Hudgins Won 1st Place at BN Clash at the Creek Tournament, going 5-0 on the weekend and outscoring opponents 30-14. Pitching & Defense lead the way with Jay Saluja & Matthew Hudgins going 4 innings and only allowing 1 run each and Benjamin Wright throwing a combined 4 innings in the Semi Finals and Championship game, allowing 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk and 8 strikeouts.

9.26.21 14U Hudgins had a good start to their Fall season with a 4-1 record overall and finishing Runner Up at the TSB Super Series. Offense was led by Drew Jeong, who hit .643 on the weekend with 2 Doubles, 2 Triples and scoring 9 Runs. Matthew Hudgins Pitched 6 2/3 Innings allowing 2 ER, 1 BB and 5 K in the Semi Finals to advance the team to the Championship Game.

6.14.21 | 13U Hudgins Finished Runner Up at TSB Beat the Heat 6/13/21. It was a grueling day under 100 degree temps that started at 8am and ended at 10pm. Boys battled all day!

Gold for 11U Hudgins at the TTB Mayfest Classic
11U Hudgins’ Tribe team played in a #PinkOutPlano tournament supporting breast cancer awareness.
5.5.19 | As of January 2019, there are more than 3.1 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This includes women currently being treated and women who have finished treatment. About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive (stage IV) breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. 11U Hudgins’ Tribe team played in a #PinkOutPlano tournament supporting breast cancer awareness. Kasey Hudgins, wife of NTX Tribe founder and 11U Coach-Michael Hudgins, is not only a statistic but also a SURVIVOR. Kasey had stage II breast cancer. She went through 5 months of chemo and still continued to work and attend all her boy’s events. Her battle included a bilateral mastectomy and then reconstructive surgery. As if that wasn’t enough, she suffered 2 collapsed lungs during one of her surgeries. Through it all she never quit. Never lost hope. She’s been cancer free for 2 years now!

11U-AAA 'BN Line Drives & Leprechauns' CHAMPIONS
3.3.19 | Despite every other tournament being canceled in DFW due to field conditions and weather, 11U AAA-Hudgins' team brought home a Championship Ring they MORE than earned! It was an emotional win at this weekend's BN Line Drives & Leprechauns tournament. Head Coach-Michael Hudgins and family was hit hard this week with the unexpected loss of his father. Michael's son, Matthew, gave it all on the field to honor his grandpa. The team rallied despite FRIGID temps and unheard of March weather. They spent 13 hours in 29 degrees with 15 mph winds. In the end, the boys went 0 & 2 on Saturday only to come back on Sunday & win 4 games to take home their very first AAA Championship ring! Way to go boys!!
11U-Hudgin's NTX Tribe team got 2019's Spring Season started off with a WIN!
2.25.19 | It was a beautiful night for baseball. The boys were more than happy to be back on the field after a long, cold, and wet winter. Their fan club even braved the cool breeze to cheer the boys to victory! Here's to an amazing Spring Season boys!

Drew Jeong from Tribe 9U - Hudgins to Compete in USSSA All American Games
06/27/2017 | Drew Jeong from NTX Tribe 9U - Hudgins has been selected to the 9U Midwest American team roster to compete in this year's USSSA All American Games in Orlando. Drew was chosen after a rigorous process of tryouts and evaluations by a USSSA scout team. Congratulations to Drew and good luck representing Tribe Baseball!

NTX Tribe 8U Runner Ups in the NIT June Bug Blast
6.20.16 | Tribe Baseball was well represented at the NIT June Bug Blast in McKinney. Both our 8U and 11U teams went 4-1 for the weekend and finished Runners-up. The 8U's offense was lead by Levi Scroggin with 10 RBIs and 2 over the fence HRs. Thanks to all the boys, coaches, and parents for making it a great Father's Day weekend!

5.23.16 | 8U Tribe – Hudgins were runners-up at the Second Chance Tournament in Grand Prairie this weekend. We saw TWO over the fence HR’s by Levi Scroggin and the boys got to bring home hardware for the 3rd time this season!

4.13.16 | The NTX Tribe 8U - Hudgins was the number one seed after pool play when the Ring in April tournament in Waxahachie, TX was cut short by rain. It wasn't the way the team wanted to do it, but good job, boys!
