Spring 2024 begins

3.3.24 Tribe Baseball- Maddux kicked off their 12u Spring in the Triple Crown Texas Season Opener this past weekend. They stumbled out of the gate losing their first game and then went on to win FIVE in a row to go 5-1 on the weekend and claim the Gold Bracket Championship! The boys played 34 innings of baseball, played the first game and the last game of the day on Sunday, and the coaches couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off their development this season! In response to the self inflicted mistakes of Game 1, the pitching only gave up 1 hit and 2 runs over 4 games on Championship Sunday with zero hits at all in the last 3 games! Congratulations boys! Let the fun begin! #NoGuestPlayersNeeded

Champions to finish fall

11.5.23 The NTX Tribe 12u (Maddux) wrapped up their Fall season this past weekend as CHAMPIONS of the Perfect Game DFW Super Regional NIT! They were powered by strong pitching and defense again all weekend going 5-0 and only allowing 2.6 runs per game. A solid Saturday earned them the #2 seed where they had to battle through some familiar faces in back-to-back-to back games to bring home GOLD! The boys played in 3 tournaments this Fall and reached the Championship Game twice. If you know this group, you know we go play the tough tournaments with the best teams and it is such a joy to watch this group compete and laugh together! They were Minions on Tuesday and Champions on Sunday!

Perfect Game selected our very own Ian Ault as Tournament MVP who batted .600 and had an OPS of 2.067 with a HR, 3B, 3-2B, 1B, 2-BB and 9 RBIs! Defensively, he threw out 3 base runners and called pitches all weekend keeping our pitching staff in the strike zone and dealing!

Perfect Game also selected Owen Lloyd as Pitching MVP! Owen took the mound in the Championship Game and delivered a NO HITTER! For the weekend, he pitched 6 innings on 84 pitches with 10 strikeouts, 0 hits, and 0 earned runs! He was dealing!

10.1.23 Tribe Baseball 12u-Maddux kicked off their Majors season in the Mavs Ballpark Wood Bat 12u OPEN finishing as  Finalists! They came up short after two tie breaker innings in the Championship game losing 5-4 to a strong Louisiana team! Omaha

6.27.23 NTX Tribe Maddux wrapped up their Spring 2023 season at the Omaha 11U SlumpBuster World Series where there were 32 teams from multiple states in the 11U division but hundreds of teams overall (huge). The boys played teams from MN, CA (x2), IL, CO, and TN. They were placed 3rd out of 32 11u teams following pool play, made it to the semifinals in the D1 (majors) bracket, and top 4 in the whole tournament. They ran out of steam and lost their semifinal game to a solid Majors CA team (who went on to win it all) with a phenomenal pitcher.

In between games, they found time for fun! The week started with an exciting College World Series semifinals game (LSU vs Wake Forest). They had a great team dinner and celebrated a couple birthdays while watching college baseball!

They had a few hotel pool days, MLB The Show tournaments, pin trading with hundreds of teams, and a make shift game of wiffle ball behind the hotel.

The boys fought hard all season and made huge strides with ability and mental fortitude. Until next season. Welcome to majors baseball boys! Enjoy your summer and thank you families for all your support!

On Sunday they had to come from behind again to beat that same #2 ranked team where they then played the #1 ranked USSSA 11u team in the Championship. After a long weekend, the boys came up a few runs short in the Final to go 4-1 against some of the best! This is their 4th Championship appearance in their last 5 Sundays. Another great weekend of building relationships, battling adversity and growing both on and off the field!

Another trip!

They battled two of the top seeds who had yet to lose a game and held both opponents to a combined 1 run on Sunday before the tournament was ultimately cancelled prior to the Championship Game! In the end, Mother Nature prevailed on Mother's Day so this group will have to wait until next weekend!

4.16.23 The boys were back to their winning ways this weekend going 4-1 and finishing 2nd in their 11U Open tournament! Lots of grit, battling adversity and most of all having fun! They even spent time between games cheering on the organization’s 9u NTX Tribe - Baro team on the neighboring field! Great weekend of baseball!

The team rallied as they entered the second inning down by 5 runs. They answered with 4 runs but it still wasn't enough to take the lead. As the game went on, they found their groove, scoring 20 runs total in the 3rd, 4th & 5th innings, holding their opponent to 9 runs across those same 3 innings. Way go start off the season Tribe!

7U Blue take home their first RING in the ASA End of Season Tournament

Bats were hot and they ended many innings with the 5 run rule, but in the end, the Lonestars came away with the win in the last inning. It was a great game with plays you wouldn't expect from a typical 7U team. Their field awareness and base running made the game exciting and intense! With the regular season over, they've still got their World Series tournament to look forward to in mid-June. Good luck boys and great job in the 8U division this season!
